Colorful Salad Recipe that Kids will LOVE!
If you’re struggling to get your child to eat healthy some experts say to let them help you in the kitchen. Kids like to try recipes they’ve created or helped to prepare so maybe you can get them to try some new foods. Today I’m sharing a salad full of healthy ingredients and color!
- Salad Mix
- Mandarin oranges in a can
- Shredded Cheese
- Boiled Eggs
- Big bowl
Pre-cut any veggies or fruit that need to be bite sized pieces for the salad. Put them in individual bowls for kids to dump into the mix.
Add the salad mix to a large bowl. Next, kids can add all the ingredients one by one, saving the dressing for last.
Once all the ingredients are in the bowl toss the salad to mix in the dressing. Serve cold as a refreshing treat that’s actually healthy!
